This booklet summarizes articles 1877 thru 1948 of The Catechism of the Catholic Church and the main points include:
► There is a likeness between the unity of the Trinity and the community that we humans ought to establish among ourselves.
► Society ought to promote the exercise of virtue, not obstruct it. Society should be organized around a sense of value and the common good of all.
► Public authority is exercised legitimately only if it is committed to the common good of society. To attain this it must employ morally acceptable means.
► The equal dignity of human persons requires the effort to reduce excessive social and economic inequalities.
